Terms of Service

StudyQuest is a free educational website for students in grades 6–12, offering guided lessons, practice, tools, and an AI tutor. The service is provided free of charge; features may change or be discontinued as we improve it.

You can use most of StudyQuest without an account. If you create one, keep your login details secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts for students under 13 should be created and managed with a parent or guardian.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Misuse the AI tutor, including attempts to generate harmful or disallowed content.

The AI tutor is a study aid that generates explanations automatically. It can be wrong or incomplete, so verify anything important and do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. It is meant to coach learning, not to complete graded work on a student’s behalf.

StudyQuest’s lessons, text, design, and software are owned by StudyQuest or its licensors and are provided for personal, educational, and classroom use. You may use and share links to our pages; you may not republish or resell our content as your own. Anything you type into the service remains yours.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudyQuest is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms or the service over time; the “last updated” date above will reflect changes. We may suspend or end access for conduct that violates these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
