StudyQuest is a free learning platform for students in grades 6–12. The mission is simple: make high-quality learning available to any student, on any device, without an account or a paywall.
I’m Mike Reeve, and I built StudyQuest on my own. I kept seeing the same thing: capable students let down by gaps in the traditional education system, not because they couldn’t learn, but because the material in front of them wasn’t clear, patient, or engaging enough to make it stick.
StudyQuest is meant to augment school, not replace it. It’s a place to get unstuck on homework, get ready for a test, or finally understand something class moved past too fast.
Most of all, I wanted a genuinely good, free option for homeschooling families and for anyone choosing an alternative to a standard classroom. Those families deserve structured, standards-aligned material they can trust, without a paywall.
I’m still building StudyQuest, and I read every note that comes in. If something is wrong or missing, please tell me.

Every topic is a single guided journey: Discover, Learn, Practice, Apply. You follow one path with quick recall checks while you read, spaced review that brings ideas back before you forget, a mastery map that tracks what you actually know, and teach-back in Apply before the scored quiz. No tab buffet, no busywork.
No paywalls on Discover, Learn, Practice, or Apply, and no account required to start. Signing in only syncs your progress across devices.
The AI tutor explains and coaches, but it never does the work for a student. We use plain-language engagement labels instead of inflated "mastery" or "complete" claims.
ADHD-friendly defaults, a dyslexia-friendly font, bionic reading, focus mode, dark mode, and adjustable text, all switchable any time in Settings.
Most academic journeys point to standards you can use for portfolios, planning, and reporting.
Digital safety and AI literacy are part of the curriculum, not an afterthought, so students learn to spot scams, protect their privacy, and think critically about AI.
